Pebble has it right. All it is missing is a voice assistant and it would be
the perfect smartwatch.
My Rolex has all these features. Why should i get this?
Yeah, no matter how you slice it Pebble is done. 7 days on a single charge?
Did you get an extended battery on that thing? The fact that it works with
iPhone may still keep it alive until the release of iWatch.
Just hold out for Apple’s iWatch it guaranteed to smash the competition!
I’m not sure if I should buy Android Wear or Sony SW2.
01:44 “.. about 3200 apps from over 15000 devs.” What?
1 extra device to charge every day? No tnx
i hate smart watches so much… i’ll stick forever with my beautiful Rolex
Submariner
Had a quick question. My dads birthdays coming up in a few days. He has the
iPhone 4s so will this watch work with it? Thank you
actually the pebble works with the windows phone Mr Fisher =)
Retweet myself? That’s sad ;)
Does Android wear show Instagram notifications??
There is nothing missing on the Pebble price and value is awesome. Battery
life is a must for a smart watch. Don’t want more to charge at night
Why compare the 1st gen Pebble with the week old Android wear devices? When
you put an G Watch or Gear Live next to a Pebble Gen 1, it makes Pebble
look crappy.
A very interesting comparison!
The Pepple´s lasts much longer which makes it to a real wearable (imho).
#androidwear #pebble
Quick question, Did you know that the pepple is waterproof?
Charging only lasts for about two days yea but don’t you charge you’re
watch at night?
Android wear doesn’t interest me in the slightest.. Not only are most of
the products ugly imo they barely function as actual watches (unable to
show the time constantly, need recharging every day), which is a must if
it’s going to replace my fossil/relic.. They just look so dorky, plus i
absolutely hate voice assistants. I think people look really stupid talking
to their devices to accomplish something a button can do instantly or
typing can do in the same time but without looking obnoxious.
So pebble actually works.. But im also interested in the razer nabu.. I’m
wondering if it’s worth waiting for it instead, or the pebble would be
better.. Or just ignore wearables completely and stick with my infinite
life watch and not be too lazy to reach in my pocket, lol.
You look like an idiot anyway, nomatter which one you pick.
What’s the point of smartwatches? They seem like a tiny, hobbled version of
a smartphone that you strap to your body. I’ve always loathed wristwatches,
mostly for the feeling of having an object constantly strapped to your
wrist, but also for the imbalance of it only being on one arm, the feeling
as it rubs against your armhairs, and that you get sweaty underneath it.
This is a fantastic review!
Android wear is useless to me until it can have a battery life greater than
a day.
Unlike android wear or the galaxy gear, pebble actually functions as a
watch.
It to me definitely has the right approach, it just needs a little more
refinement. They should up the app storage vastly, 8 is pretty sad.. Make
it a little better for fitness tracking and maybe throw in more options
like circular watch shapes (though i prefer square/rectangular). Give it
some other practical functions like a flash light, security terminal, or
locator (where you could get some key chain thing and make it beep from the
watch, or locate your phone) and i think it would easily take off..
Pebble is undoubtedly a pioneer in wearables, but I’m sold with Android
wear…**{cough)** …Moto 360
