That was very helpful – I’d however request you to please guide me as I
have already started using my whatsapp on new phone – I have my backup from
my old phone ready though on laptop –
Option 1 – I copied the files individually from database folder and it
restored barring one file (probably it was the current file where all
conversations were recorded) and I did not overwrite – would overwriting
help now
Option 2 – I’d use the microsim on the old phone and take the backup again
and then transfer it to new phone before installing whatsapp as per your
guidelines
Please guide me what would be the best option
