I really hate the colors, the white menus, the flat look, There isn’t
anything I like about this new look.
I am so excited to get Android Lollipop running on my Nexus 5!! This really
is the most refined version of Android yet. I remember saying that for Kit
Kat, but this is just on a whole new level!
Aww yeahhhhh…..buttery, buttery smooth!
Got the latest lollipop image for nexus 7 downloaded. So tempted to flash
it but can’t be asked to set up adb etc and just setting all the apps
again. Also I’m pretty sure when google release the final version in 2-3
week’s time I will have to do it all over again as the preview builds don’t
get ota update. Seeing all these Android L videos isn’t helping though,
everything I have seen is just awesome and fast and pretty lol. I’ve always
thought stock android was bland but now i just want it. Here’s a very nice
Walkthrough of L. Will make any nexus devices feel like a whole new phone.
I’ve decided that nexus 7 with lollipop will be like a new device to me and
I don’t need to get another tablet. honeycomb to ios was a big upgrade,
this imo is a even bigger upgrade.

I don’t like android Lollipop… Seems like they tried to be like the new
iOS and now the u.I is just cluttered with crap and notifications seem to
take up every fucking screen and you will spend most of the Day pushing
them away… Having them on your lock screen is annoying… And having them
pop up is annoying too… Lollipop sucks.. All the stupid little animations
would be nice if only android handled them with out sticking..and slowing
down…. It doesn’t happen often but so much action going causes the u.I to
stick sometimes… 4.4.4 was much Better , clearner and you got to do
things much faster… Notifications were only seen when you wanted them to
be by pulling down..they were forced down your fucking mouth with pop
ups…and lock screens. The app draw is also stupid on lollipop.. It opens
like a thought bubble.. And that would be cool if it was an actual thought
bubble and now a white Square.. In 4.4.4 he Ap draw was beautiful… Bow
its a white screen with APS in it..meh lollipop is weak sauce… Too much
going on and it feels clumsy to me..yuck. I think I’m reverting back to
4.4.4 ..
Multi tasking card view… a let down for me. I’m used to swiping browser
tab, at the top of it. Then swipe up and down to change tabs, or to the
right to close tabs.
Now, I have to press little square at bottom right of screen. It seems
minor, but it’s very annoying for me.

Friends, it was possible to eliminate the bell to vibration or Cancel on
the right button. After the upgrade there is only the option to turn off.
Where did the possibility of cancellation
5.02 blows chunks. Its buggy and fucked up as hell. KitKat was awesome,
almost rock solid stable, clean, and straight forward. Material Design is
a total disaster but if that were all, I could suffer with it.
Unfortunately they screwed up a lot of things under the hood as well. The
lock screen will keep popping up at random; the home button will stop
working on you; videos in Google Play store will no longer play past 5
seconds; apps that ran before now no longer work; notification bar and
settings bar is now crushed together in a confusing mess; task switcher is
now a bunch of confusing flickable window panes; some people report serious
battery life drain problems, etc, etc, etc…. just google “LOLIPOP
sucks” or “LOLIPOP bugs”
If you are running 4.4.2 KitKat, do yourself a huge favor and just say no
to the free upgrade when its pushed to your device. Trust me, you will
only screw up your device and hate it afterwards. If your curiosity is
driving you nuts to see what its like, its not worth it… do yourself a
big favor and just go into a store and play with LOLIPOP on a store machine
so you won’t fuck up your own device.
There are casual users who are saying oh LOLIPOP is the cats meow. Ignore
them as they aren’t power users. It doesnt take you long really using the
OS as a power user to realize they really fucked things up for really no
gain, and mostly 2 steps backward. KitKat is so much better than LOLIPOP.
They need to du!p LOLIPOP as a flop and go back to KitKat and try again
It’s Lollipop!
Než si zase koupíte další Samsung, tak se podívejte, jak vypadá Android
přímo od Googlu a pak zpět co za hnusy s ním provádí Samsung.
The soundeffect that plays while going into / out of sleep mode sound a
little “crackling”. Sorta like a broken speaker or something.
Is it supposed to be like that, or am i the nly one hearing that ?
Also, i kinda miss the old touch sound and the white / grey on screen
keyboard is really hard on the eyes. Is there a way to change these
settings ?
